I am, Mr. Félix Joseph Buchler, the Honorary Consul of the Republic of Mauritius in Luxembourg

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the official website of the Honorary Consulate.

The core mission of the Honorary Consulate is to:

  • enhance the Bilateral Relations between Mauritius and Luxembourg
  • promote the welfare of and provide consular services to the Mauritian community living in Luxembourg
  • foster trade and investment as well as tourism between Mauritius and Luxembourg
  • facilitate cultural, commercial, educational, social, scientific and sports exchanges between Mauritius and Luxembourg
  • provide information on passport, visas and other issues of interest based on current regulations

Services

Receives applications for new Mauritius Passports and Passport Renewals.(Please contact the Embassy to make the application)

Receives visa applications.(Please contact the Embassy to make the application)

Receives applications for Travel Documents to citizens of Mauritius. Travel Documents are issued in exceptional cases when a Mauritian citizen has to travel to Mauritius but has no valid passport.

Receives applications for Renunciation of the Citizenship of Mauritius.

Provides guidance and information regarding tourism, investment and replying to any other queries from the Mauritian or foreign public

Delivers "certificate de coutume" and "certificate de nationalité" for persons getting married in Belgium or applying for foreign citizenship
